polarhome MySQL databases are created with default values:
username: users username
database: users username
hosts: localhost
password : randomly created password that is not equal with user chosen ftp/shell password. It means that user can access its database just from the localhost - running on that particular box. Therefore mysql TCP port is not defined on most boxes and MySQL uses just socket communictaion - that implies that these databases are not reachable from any other machine. faq |
