on a similar note: someone at
host15-115.pool80183.interbusiness.it
tried several hundred varied URLs on Alpha.polarhome.com last Tuesday. Most of them to .dlls - which don't even exist on OpenVMS and attempt to access /c... .exe files - another sign of a Winslows script-kiddie. Idiot!

I guess I'm lucky my own machines are on an intranet.

Keep well,

Bleh
Some people just don't deserve to have internet access =\
[and some others, don't deserve to breathe]

btw mike, how many vms machines do you control in total?
[ie home network, job, etc']
just curious :)

Ow, and i'm also working on counter-hack system that will automaticly fire up when i'm sleeping [seems that most users preffer to attack mandarke at exactly those times].
Something like Conexion did when WTO's site was attacked would be futile since my upload bandwidth is equal to a dual isdn line, but i have an implementation in mind involving nmap and alot of pre-compiled exploits.

L33t H4x0rz, beware.
YOU,, SHALL,, NOT,, PASS!

vms machines do you control

four at work (two VAXen, two Alphas) All small
manage customer's site - thats manage, not quite the same as control ;) - total: not that many, really.

But we support sites with dozens of Alphas/VAXen i.e. telephone support mainly.

when i'm sleeping [seems that most users preffer to attack mandarke at exactly those times].

So give up sleeping - time-wasting habit.
