Process getting killed w/o error messages

Postby FutureSpy » Tue Oct 21, 2008 5:23 am

Hello.

I'm trying to merge two dictionaries using a Java application. However, whenever I try to run it, the process just get killed without any error messages:

[1] Loading bilingual AB (dics/apertium-oc-es.oc-es.dix)
[2] Loading bilingual BC (dics/apertium-es-pt.es-pt.dix)
Killed

So I wonder if it's getting killed 'cos there's no enough memory or something is just going wrong.

Could some admin take a look at it please? Or someone more experienced give me some tips on how to find out the cause of the problem? My account is 'rakuen' if that helps in anything.

Thanks in advance

Hello,

I guess, you have some memory or cpu limit problems, but it is hard to say more before you post the hostname, command ev. the username as well.
Regards,

From looking at finger, I'd guess its the following:

Box: Redhat
User: rakuen

It appears rakuen has an account on debian also but not shell enabled whereas redhat is.

As Z asked what command are you using? Is the information public (Ie, can you show me it and I'll do some investigating on a box).
