I FTP my files into my account, I can even change my settings, but when I tried to access my page: <a href='http://www.polarhome.com/~pdl/index.htm' target='_blank'>http://www.polarhome.com/~pdl/index.htm</a>, It just tells me that "Object not found", why?

Do you put the files inside the public_html directory?

Also: try to be a little more specific in the title of your O.P.

Thanks, I made my page viewable, and I found my problem all around, others didn't name their topic clear, either :) , but now I have another problem: when I tried to run php scripts (typing their address in my browser), it's only viewing the script source!

when I tried to run php scripts (typing their address in my browser), it's only viewing the script source!

1. How do you access the file (i.e. give an example URL)

2. compare e.g. with
<a href='http://www.polarhome.com:793/~miker/show_source.php?show_source' target='_blank'>this php example</a> to see whether you can find significant differences.

3. Have you checked you're using the correct port?

Just to add something, make sure that all your PHP scripts have a .php extension and not .php3 or something similar.

I found out why... Linux systems are case sensitive. My FTP client automatically uppercased all filenames, so .PHP instead of .php >> not working.

However, thanks for help
