Is the Linux/Redhat web server down? If I try to bring up my page @
<a href='http://www.polarhome.com:793/~stettin/' target='_blank'>http://www.polarhome.com:793/~stettin/</a> I get "Page Cannot be Displayed".
I tried connecting to the FTP and it comes up fine at port 791.

I got the same problem too with my website(that is also hosted on a redhat server).
What the F*ck is going on? :)

I think probably the web server process is hung or the port forwarding got all screwy. I noticed on the page not displayed for /~stettin that the server didn't add the :793/~stettin, although typing it in manually didn't work either.

14 eggdrops???
Can someone explain to this guy that 1 eggdrop can be in more than 1 channel at the time? Probably that's the problem with him, there is no other reason to start 14 of them!!

How long will it take to repair all this mess?

As long as it takes..

No one is trying to be the bad guy here you know folks..
but understand - polarhome is managed by a single person, who happens to have a family and a very demanding job.

It's not like i can call him in the middle of the night and say 'hey Z mind fixing redhat?'
He's doing his best, and if it takes him a few days to *fix* redhat - then so be it.

Denis; its obvious. To people who have nothing better to do in their lives than wait around for things to happen. I shud offer them a hobby I think. At least we understand and respect Zoltan is a busy man and fixing redhat isnt the highest priority he has.

Guess thats why we're vets of polarhome.
