custom 404 pages?

Postby dirmass_redhat » Mon Dec 06, 2004 12:36 pm

Am I allowed custom 404 pages on redhat?

I uploaded .htaccess (

ErrorDocument 404 /404.html

) in the root, and the 404.html file and I tried to access an inexistent file on my account, I still get the Apache 404 error:

The requested URL /~dirmass/nonexistent was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/2.0.40 Server at www.polarhome.com Port 793

:(
