ftp account problem

Hi there, just got an email from forum@polarhome.com regarding the inactivity of my account, and to my complete surprise my former shell account is still 'active'. Why the surprise? well I originally had a shell account under the old system ( before 2001.10.10 ). which was changed to an ftp account. OK so whats the problem? well it was so long ago that I can't remember my password for this account. Would it be possible to upgrade my old account to shell account and get the password reset?

Not at this exact moment you understand, this is for the future, when I actually lay my hands on the required 10 currency units you require ( not being funny, but it's equivalent to about $20usd here ).

Or alternativly is it possible to reset my FTP account password since my website is still there, frozen in time like a fly in amber, visible but unreachable. http://www.polarhome.com:793/~gaspode/
