FTP : temporary completion problem reply??

FTP : temporary completion problem reply??

i'm a redhat user, i sucessfully connected to readhat but i just couldn't upload files at all - or i should say i could - but all the files are 0kb.
it keeps poping up a "file transfer log" warning and it says "temporary completion problem reply", what's happening??
it was abosuletly fine before can anyone help?? thankyou

I think it's the problem of you local computer's file system. Try scan it first (chkdsk in case of NT, scandisk else), I'm haven't ever tried scanning on *.nix.

If you are using Windows, try SFTP http://www.smartftp.com/download

get a new ftp client, thst's just messed up.

[or if you don't wanna bother, use internet explorer's built-in ftp client]

hi,

I do not think that it is client problem but more firewall issue.
This is dated from mid Juni - in that time polarhome ran on ppp line that confused very complicate NAT, mangle and firewall policy on gate.

We should close this tread, because it is not actual any more.
