In your case, the shell fee is 30VND [2USD~]

And i'm the root [of all evil] on mandrake, but the address to send application form + fee is the same [zoli's].

You know the usual proccedure; take cash, send the cash.
print form, fill it in, fax it.
that's the long way, but zoli's away for a few weeks so..

But I will send about $5 to Zoli .. Okay got all the info I needed. Thanks Denisf.
Ah, Will I have to fax the form ? Can I send all ( money , form , ect. ) via postoffice ?

Yeh you can send it all together in a single package, u can send it now and it will arrive by the time that zoli will be back :)

And chaz, i think the folks who have their eggdrops restarted every 5~10 days would disagree ;)
but then again, i still keep my 99.9% uptime ^_^

hehe my server is indeed the second best [hardware+software wise] on polarhome, since i have no life and i basicly babysit it all day long :)

that comes at a price though, look at solaris for example, it's been up for the past half year.
while my server's uptime is restarted every 5~10 days [best i got so far was 11 days or so].

So if you're one of those people who think the latest is the greatest, and don't mind a few restarts per month, go for mandrake.
otherwise id'e suggest any of zoli's machines. [except freebsd, it's overloaded to hell and back]

I do believe that a good UNIX/Linux person can get the hang of it pretty fast... Some things look dumb at first glance, compared to Unix, but there are good reasons for the difference... except perhaps for handling UID/GIDs in octal

Hey guys -
Let me add my warm recommendation for the Alpha (or for that matter the VAX; exactly the same!)

There should be a pointer in my sig to a page with some VMS help: If you're really new start with the beginners FAQ. If you have specific VMS-related questions, theres online documentation - click the link for HP OpenVMS Home (on my page) and look for the pointer to "documentation", or the User's manual

Or try the most helpful OpenVMS command : HELP (try it it works! Better than man or apropos, IMHO)

...Or ask here...

MikeR
Look for OpenVMS help on my webpage
Check for QOTD here.
