Can't assemble

Postby silluminati_debian » Sat Jun 18, 2016 1:48 am

I'm trying to assemble my source file and am getting weird errors. First here is my directory structure
private
AS
bin
build
src

And here is my build script in build/build.sh
Code: Select all
asldirectory=../AS
sourcedirectory=../src
bindirectory=bin

aslfile=asl
sourcefile=source.asm
romfile=ScorpionIlluminati.bin

aslpath=$asldirectory/$aslfile
sourcepath=$sourcedirectory/$sourcefile
binpath=$bindirectory/$romfile

$aslpath $sourcepath $binpath

when i try running the script here is the output I get:
silluminati@debian:~/private/build$ ./build.sh

warning, detected non-ANSI time format specifier '%R'
macro assembler 1.42 Beta [Bld 107]

assembling ../src/source.asm
PASS 1
> > >source.asm(8): error: error in opening file
fatal error, assembly terminated

Here is line 8 of source.asm:
Code: Select all
      include 'header.asm'

What makes it weird is that file is in the same directory as source.asm so i'm not sure why it's complaining it can't open it. Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
