Postby matahr » Fri Nov 26, 2004 7:11 pm

Hi to all,
I have a crontab problem and i searched whole google and cannot solve this..

Well, crontab on RedHat doesnt work ? (but on OpenBSD all is ok)

this is what i am trying to do:

crontab -e
<ctrl + L>
<I>
13**** test
<esc>
":wq!"

end this is the message i got:
"
no crontab for matahr - using an empty one
crontab: no changes made to crontab
"

Can you help me ?
Thanks!

i have tried following while writing in crontab and it worked well
Code: Select all
0 13 * * * test

although i edit my crontab with pico but it does not matter,
another hint is if you just want to restart your some daemon after the server starts just enter following
Code: Select all
@reboot ./ircd
