bank transfer

Postby ninjin » Mon Sep 05, 2005 7:43 pm

umm.. Hi :)
i have just registered shell account (linux/debian) and i would like to ask about bank transfer payment option..
I don't understand the details exactly
4. Bank transfer
- amount should be transferred to:

Zoltan Arpadffy
for polarhome.com
Bank: SEB, Stockholm, Sweden
SWIFT: ESSE SE SS
Account: 5231-0271578

or with another words:

Iban: SE5150000000052310271578
Bic : ESSESESS

I thought that to send money by bank transfer is necessary only number of account, bank code, variable, specific and constant symbol, isn't it?
Uh - iam from Czech Republic and i never sent money to foreign countries, so iam not sure about this..

Will it be possible? ( i don't like sending money via post because it is quite unsecure :)

:) this is the easiest and most cost effective method, because banks take some fee for transfer.

Otherwise Iban and Bic numbers follow internacional standard and should be accepted through internet bank as well (but sure, it depends of bank's approach and application implementation)

I have good experiences with hidden cash in letter. Airmail letter from slovenia cost me somethin like 1USD and it came to Zoli in 6 -/+ days.

It's much better than something like expensive western union and similiar services - where provision might cost me something like 10 USD - and it might be annoying also to Zoli when he would waiting in bank line for those few bucks (600SIT - 3USD).

So answer to one from previous posts (din): try to use airmail and you will probably have shell in one week. Or.. you have it already? No matter - some other might get answer as usefull too.
