Someone told you that you'll hardly find a server that'll alow you to connect to a major irc network like Undernet.

That someone was me. <_<

Well I think that is the least important thing, who told me that. What matters is if I will ever see my egg on Undernet!
And endeed U told me, Mr. Matej (don`t worry, I didn`t forget) :D

Do undernet give trusts (allowance for many clients) to shell companies or stuff like that?

Well I don`t know how much allowence does Undernet give to shell services. This depends on how a shell service (like Polarhome) is made. I do know that it only lets non-destructive bots and it lets 4 or 5 connections from one normal host. So I don`t really know if from Polarhome`s host does it let more. Logically they should let more connections, because from a shell service there must be far more available connections than from a normal hosts for ex. a normal home user).

It may be off topic, but I have to mention that the same problem persist with my psyBNC also. Too many connections from your host
On Undernet... of course :( :<

After about eggdrop1.6.12 (or so) all the eggdrop.whatever.conf files were merged into one big-hella-config file with /all/ the options, just an FYI :)

aljosha_solaris, thanx about the information and for your help. With the eggdrop.simple.conf I made it successfully and the bot works perfectly. The only problem is on Polarhomes servers bots and bncs are "swarming" so I don`t have a single chance to connect mine and put it on Undernet for example. Somehow I could even configure a full .conf file but this is the smaller problem. I guess that have to forget this part of my shell :<

Well it's not really swarming..
If undernet limit the connection per host to 3 and the 4th connects, all of them get g-lined..

infact we may have a perm.gline there.. who knows..
I can try and talk with them again if you want it that bad..

You don`t have to do that DenisF, thanx.
By the way, don`t understand me wrong... if this cannot be done then it cannot be done, and that`s it. I do not want it "bad" as you said.

Thanx anyway for all your help, my friends!

Well iv'e talked with their *help staff* (who are practicly non existant), and apperantly they don't have a centralized system (like quakenet's Trusts) to control mass connections..

I don't really know what else can i do..
hmm..

maybe you can try to connect to different undernet servers or something?

Sorry.. :(

No problemo DenisF. I`ve already tried about 20 different servers for Undernet, including the newest ones, but none worked.
As I said, no problem!

I was referring to more than just a casual attempt. In other words make it come from someone authoritative such as Zoli (Ie, root@polarhome.com) as opposed to just us.

+ I bet they do have a centralised account of it, and if they dont then we just approach a server admin locally.
