"cc1: out of memory allocating 330072 bytes after a total of 2646016 bytes"

kinda obvious really..

anyway, try taking out some modules out of your compile proc, [stuff that you won't use, like compressions, transfers, whatever].

should help.

hello

i have an error while installing eggdrop. anyway, here's the error:

Installing in directory: '/home/****'.

Creating directory '/home/****/eggdrop'.
Copying new 'eggdrop' executable and creating symlink.
ide1(22,1): write failed, user block limit reached.
/usr/bin/install: writing `/home/****/eggdrop/eggdrop-1.6.17': Disk quota exceeded
make: *** [install-bin] Error 1

This error always occur everytime i install eggdrop. Eventhough its the only app in my shell. I really think thats not a quota problem. Hope anyone here can help me with this one.. Thankx

i just love the way people try to censor their usernames or whatever.. lol
like it isn't obvious *g*

anyway, back on topic.
yes it is a quote problem, cause a standard 'everything and the kitchen sink' eggdrop takes 28 megs to compile. you onlu get 20.

how to solve this, you ask ?
compile it with less crap that no one uses.
[type make iconfig instead of make config, and choose only the modules that u'll use]

that shud do it.

make iconfig

Only choose the modules you need and it will compile. :)
