Zoli, sorry for any misguide and disinformation. Beyondirc has just implemented a free iline, so the prob is solved now.

Why would anyone want to visit a network full of warez/bots? I cannot account for all of the users in /lusers in channels... ddos bots maybe?

I don't like the look of it and its against what polarhome users want, IE a bigger network to use.

The biggest channel on that network is a warez channel. And even then the users on all of the channels do not account for the total number "present" in /lusers.

I just find it suspicious.

Oh that Beyondirc network.

Seems it is still new though, sometimes weird channels used such servers (as they did in Polarhome).

Well, the bircd is the nicest one i`ve ever seen and besides that there is a channel that i am interested in participating.
My thanks and apologizes.

PS: BTW is the polarhome network being tested now?

sjaz,
I basically don`t like any commercial projects at all and warez. I`ve never joined that room and I have no clue what is going on there and to say the truth I even don`t want to. There are enough official and just "polite" channel to participate and a very good admins and just nice pople. As addition - unique and *very* handy services ever. IMO

This is the reply I got from an oslo.no.eu.undernet.org admin:

Sorry i have to decline you. From what i can see polarhome points back to a private DSL subscriber in sweden. Sorry nothing i can do

Did you really expect from an Oslo admin to give an I-line to a private DSL user in Sweden?

 8)

As a matter a fact I did expect that. Since there is NO SWEDISH UNDERNET SERVER (stockholm.se.eu.udernet.org was cut down don't know when), so Oslo was the nearest. Or do you have a better ideea, afonic?

Anyways, I give up. I see no chance of obtaining Undernet I-lines

How about an i-line for SuSE? Maybe I would be accepted.

It was a joke based on the Sweden-Norway relation actually.
Sorry if you took it the wrong way. (meaning if you thought I tried to laugh at you)

If the network rules say they don't give i-lines to private DSL lines then there is nothing you can do. Although I'd try to contact some other admin and ask. (not another one from Oslo).
