WHAT IS A VIRUS?

1) Virus is a little program that its activity can distruct some files and a computer system. If this program does not open it's still stay inactive and could not distruct anything.

2) Virus program is brought by an email-virus as attachment, where it has a server itself (virus server). Virus attachment could not go into another email then to be attachment, such as an email was sent by user (netter), member, moderator etc. It must be brought by its email itself, called EMAIL VIRUS.

3) EMAIL VIRUS would send by any email address of any account that it cought from some mailbox and address-book's another person at anywhere. So that a virus attachment could to become look like sent by our friend, our member, our moderator etc.. In this case even my be able the virus attachment was sent by your email address yourself.

4) Identification of virus attachment: it has a small size file, <100KB, and it has file name extention such as:
*.scr
*.clp
*.pif
*.bat
*.exe
*.com
*.txt
*.doc
*.lhz
*.rhz
and some time it's compressed by *.zip file. 
Also probably its name is HotMovie.MPEG__________scr.
Actualy the file is virus attachment file with extention .scr

5) Beside said above you may be able to know an EMAIL VIRUS from its subyect (an amazing name), such as:

If you received email like that, so you should delete it. Dont open it.
By the way don't give your email subyect with a name look like EMAIL VIRUS subyect otherwish your email would be deleted by receipient.

*** If one of your file in your hardisk has infected by virus, it'll change into function to be virus and might could infected all of files in your hardisk. 

6)ANY WAY, IF ALL OF YOU KEEP IN MIND THIS EXPLANATION, THE OBYECT AND TARGET VIRUS ATTACHMENT JUST PERSONS WHO SUCH AS NEW COMER WAS GOING INTO THE INTERNET ZONE OR THOSE STILL LEARNING BY DOING.

PENGERTIAN TENTANG VIRUS

1) Virus adalah program kecil yg kerjanya bisa merusak files dan
system komputer. Apabila program virus tidak diklik / tidak dibuka
dia tidak bekerja, tetap diam saja dan tidak dapat merusak.

2) Program virus dibawa oleh EMAIL VIRUS, yg punya server sendiri (virus server) sebagai lampiran email. Lampiran virus tidak bisa melekat pada email lain yg dikirim oleh user (netter), anggota, moderator dsb.

3) EMAIL VIRUS dikirim memakai nama siapa saja, yg diperoleh dari To
dan CC, karena sasaran virus adalah menelusuri address-book dan
mailbox user dimana saja, sehingga virus seolah-olah dikirim oleh
orang yg saling kenal (ada unsur adu domba). Dlm hal ini dapat saja
email virus memakai nama netter lain, nama sesama anggota, nama
moderator, nama group, bahkan mungkin nama account kamu sendiri, tanpa kamu ketahui.

4) Ciri-ciri program virus antara lain: berukuran kecil, < 100KB, dan
punya extensi antara lain:
*.scr
*.clp
*.pif
*.bat
*.exe
*.com
*.z
*.afz
*.hdz
*.txt
*.doc
Terkadang file tsb dibungkus dgn file *.zip. Juga seringkali memakai
nama tipuan, misalnya dgn nama file HotMovie.MPEG__________scr.
Sesungguhnya file tsb adalah file virus berekstensi .scr

5) Email virus, selain berukuran kecil, dapat dikenali juga dari
subyeknya (aneh2) a.l sbb:

dan masih banyak lagi...
Jika kamu menerima email dgn subyek seperti itu dan semacamnya,
langsung dihapus saja, tak perlu dibuka. Jika kamu buka, alamat email kamu yg sesungguhnya akan dikenal masih aktif. 
Maka janganlah mengirim email dgn subyek yg diberi nama mirip atau sama dgn subyek email virus (spt diatas), jika kamu ingin lebih selamat account kamu.

**Jika salah satu file di hardisk kamu terinfeksi virus, dia rusak dan berubah fungsi menjadi sebagai program virus. Artinya jika file itu dibuka seluruh file di hardisk kamu akan rusak terinfeksi juga, demikian seterusnya infeksi menjalar secara beruntuntun. 

6) Yang penting, 
- janganlah mengklik/membuka attchm program virus
walaupun emailnya dari orang yg kamu kenal atau kawan akrab kamu.
- Waspadalah thd kata2 tipuan yg dipakai oleh EMAIL VIRUS, misalnya
file ini bebas virus telah discan dgn anti virus Norton, McFree dsb.
- Janganlah saling mencurigai antara sesama anggota atau netter yg
sudah kamu kenal, siapa tahu alamat email kamu sendiri sudah dipakai virus.
- Jika memang ragu-ragu, bukalah hanya attchm file .jpg, .jpg, dan .jpg
saja.

7) APBILA KAMU TELAH MEMAHAMI PENJELASAN INI, SASARAN VIRUS TINGGALLAH ORANG-ORANG YG MEMANG BARU MENGENAL DAN BELAJAR MASUK INTERNET.
