HAWAII: THREATS AGAINST MUSLIMS

Hundreds of leaflets containing threats and disparaging remarks toward Muslims
were found in the yard of an Islamic center in Honolulu, the authorities said. The
leaflets were thrown into the yard of the Muslim Association of Hawaii's mosque on
Monday, said Daniel Dzwilewski, special agent in charge of the F.B.I.'s Honolulu
division. He said officials were investigating the act as a hate crime. There are
about 3,000 Muslims in Hawaii.
