</v:shape><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Pada pertengahan bulan Januari 2011 yang baru lalu, kita dikejutkan dengan berita berhenti beroperasinya (sementara) perusahaan penerbangan <b>Mandala Airlines</b>. Perusahaan ini pada tahun 2006 diambil alih oleh Indigo Partner dan Cardig International ini kemudian cukup agresif berusaha untuk dapat meningkatkan kinerjanya. Bahkan di tahun berikutnya memesan 30 pesawat Airbus senilai 2,3 milyar Dollar. Sungguh sangat mengagetkan ketika akhirnya Mandala kemudian berhenti beroperasi dan berusaha untuk menjadwalkan kembali utang-utangnya sampai hari ini. Kegagalan perusahaan penerbangan di Indonesia bukan kali ini saja kita temui.
