Synopsis
Widget XtParent(w)
Widget w;
Inputs
w Specifies the widget whose parent is to be returned. May be
of class Object or any subclass thereof.
Returns

DescriptionXtParent() returns the parent widget of the specified object.
UsageXtParent() is implemented as a function when called from application
code, but is replaced by a more efficient macro when called from widget
code including the file <X11/IntrinsicP.h>.
If XtParent() is called on a toplevel shell widget which has no parent
(such as those created by XtAppInitialize() or XtAppCreateShell(), for
example) it returns NULL.
