acl_delete_def_fd(3)					  acl_delete_def_fd(3)

NAME
       acl_delete_def_fd - Deletes the default access ACL from the designated
       directory

SYNOPSIS
       #include <sys/acl.h>

       int acl_delete_def_fd(
	       int fd );

LIBRARY
       Security Library (libpacl.a)

PARAMETERS
       Refers to the open file descriptor for the directory that the default
       access ACL is to be deleted from.

DESCRIPTION
       NOTE: This function is based on Draft 13 of the POSIX P1003.6 stan‐
       dard.

       The acl_delete_def_fd() function deletes the default access ACL from
       the directory designated by fd.

RETURN VALUES
       Upon successful completion, the acl_delete_def_fd() function returns a
       value of 0 (zero). Otherwise, a value of -1 is returned and errno is
       set to indicate the error.

ERRORS
       If any of the following conditions occur, the acl_delete_def_fd() func‐
       tion sets errno to the corresponding value:

       The parameter fd is not a valid file descriptor open for writing. The
       object referenced by fd is not a directory. The object referenced by
       fd does not reside on a file system that supports ACLs.	The user does
       not have the required access to the directory to remove the default
       ACL. The object referred to by fd resides on a read-only file system.
