amax_val_i(3PI) Sun Interval Performance Library amax_val_i(3PI)

NAME
       amax_val_i - Max absolute value and location.

DESCRIPTION
       The routine AMAX_VAL_I finds the index of the maximum absolute value
       component of an interval vector X. Maximum absolute value component
       is defined as follows: the absolute value of the lower or upper bound
       of the component has the largest value among the absolute values of the
       lower and upper bounds of all components of the interval vector. When
       the value of the N is equal to zero, the routine should initialize the
       output K to negative one or zero, and R to zero.

SYNOPSIS
       SUBROUTINE AMAX_VAL_I( X, K, R )
       INTERVAL, INTENT(IN)  :: X(:)
       INTEGER,	 INTENT(OUT) :: K
       REAL,	 INTENT(OUT) :: R
	where
       X has shape (N).

ARGUMENTS
       X (input)
		   Array of DIMENSION N.
		   Unchanged on exit.
       K (output)
		   On exit, K = index of maximal component, the result
		   of AMAX_VAL_I. If there are some maximal components
		   in the X, K is the smallest index.
       R (output)
		   On exit, R = maximum of Xi absolute value, the result
		   of AMAX_VAL_I.

ERRORS
       blas_error_alloc
		 X is unallocated array
