NAME
     asyncd - asynchronous paging server

SYNOPSIS
     asyncd [num_servers]

DESCRIPTION
     The asyncd program allows the kernel to perform paging requests asyn-
     chronously.

     Unless otherwise specified, a single server is started.  The asyncd util-
     ity exits 0 on success, and >0 if an error occurs.

HISTORY
     The asyncd utility first appeared in BSD/OS 2.1.
