BSD2DOS(1) BSD Reference Manual BSD2DOS(1)

NAME
bsd2dos - convert a UNIX file to a DOS file

SYNOPSIS
     bsd2dos [input [output]]

DESCRIPTION
The bsd2dos utility converts a UNIX text file into a DOS text file. This
is done by adding ^M to the end of each line that lacks one.

By default, bsd2dos reads from standard input and writes to standard out-
put. If one argument is specified, bsd2dos reads from that file and
writes to standard output. If two arguments are specified, bsd2dos reads
from the file specified by the first argument, and writes to the file
     specified by the second argument.

The bsd2dos utility exits 0 on success, and >0 if an error occurs.
