NAME
     cmsOpen - establishes a context for working with the color management
     system

SYNOPSIS
     #include <cms.h>

     int32 cmsOpen(pctxt);
     CMSContext *pctxt;

DESCRIPTION
     cmsOpen establishes a CMSContext for the application to use in subsequent
     calls to the color management system (CMS) library.  Pass in the address
     of a CMSContext; cmsOpen initialize it appropriately.  Calling cmsClose
     will free the CMSContext.

ERRORS
     CMS_OUT_OF_MEMORY
	       There is not sufficient memory available in the system to
	       establish a new CMS context.
