gss_import_sec_context(3)			     gss_import_sec_context(3)

NAME
       gss_import_sec_context()	 -  transfer  a	 security  context  to another
       process on a single machine

SYNOPSIS

DESCRIPTION
       The routine lets a process to import a security context established  by
       another process.	 A given interprocess token may be imported only once.

   Input Parameters
       interprocess_token    Specifies	the  token to be transferred to target
			     process.

   Output Parameters
       context_handle	     Specifies the context handle of newly reactivated
			     context.

       minor_status	     Returns  a	 status	 code from the security mecha‐
			     nism.

STATUS CODES
       The following status codes can be returned:

       The routine was completed successfully.

       The supplied context handle did not refer to a valid context.

       The token was invalid.

       The operation is not supported.

       Local policy prevents  the  import  of  this  context  by  the  current
       process.
