     tions

SYNOPSIS

     malloc(size_t size);

     calloc(size_t nelem, size_t elsize);

     void *
     alloca(size_t size);

DESCRIPTION
     These functions allocate and free memory for the calling process.	They
     are described in the individual manual pages.
