NAME
mnihongo - macros for typesetting Japanese

SYNOPSIS
       troff -mnihongo ...

DESCRIPTION
Mnihongo provides a simple troff(1) post-processor that formats Unicode
characters that might be Japanese text.	It looks up the characters in
the bitmap font /lib/font/bit/pelm/unicode.9x24.font and generates bit‐
map images embedded in the output.

During troff processing, widths of the Japanese	characters are taken
from the troff font Jp, which is at best a simple approximation to the
       truth.

FILES
       /bin/aux/mnihongo
       /sys/lib/tmac/tmac.nihongo
       /lib/font/bit/pelm/unicode.9x24.font

SOURCE
       /sys/src/cmd/aux/mnihongo
