       perfstat - Performance tool status checking script

       perfstat [options]

       perfstat	 is a script which can be used to easily monitor the status of
       performance tool processes on unix analysis and agent systems.

       -?	      Lists all perfstat options.  If your shell interprets  ?
		      as  a  wildcard  character,use an invalid option such as
		      -xxx instead of -?.

       -c	      Shows system configuration information.

       -e	      Searches for warnings and errors from  performance  tool
		      status files.

       -f	      Lists size of performance tool status files.

       -p	      Lists active performance tool processes.

       -t	      Displays	last  few  lines  of  performance  tool status

       -v	      Lists permissions and version strings  for  key  perfor‐
		      mance tool files.

       -z	      Dumps  perfstat  info  to a file and optionally create a
		      compressed image of info and data files.

       -d	      Displays configuration information of the data  communi‐
		      cation mechanism used.

       on HP-UX, Tru64, Solaris, Linux, and AIX:
       /var/tmp/perfstat.out (-z option)

       perfstat was developed by Hewlett-Packard.
