NAME
prmlist - display current configuration information

SYNOPSIS
       [PRMgroup]] {user|+netgroup}]
	      [compartment]] [application]] [disk_volume]]
	      [unix_group]]

DESCRIPTION
This command displays	PRM group, memory, user, compartment, applica‐
tion, disk, and Unix group record information for the currently	loaded
PRM configuration. (For information on records, see prmconf(4)).

The displayed information is arranged in the following tables:

       Group table
Contains	PRM group identification and resource specification
(CPU and memory for HP-UX) information

       User table
Shows mappings between users and PRM groups

       Compartment table
On HP-UX 11i v2 (B.11.23) and later, shows mappings between
secure compartments (created using the HP-UX feature Security
Containment) and PRM groups. (You can also create secure com‐
partment	configurations using a PRM utility such as or An entry
of for the PRM group indicates the compartment is not mapped to
	      a group.

       Application table
Shows mappings between	applications and PRM groups, including
the application path, PRM group, and a list of alternate names

       Disk table
Lists the name of each configured disk device and the shares for
	      each

       Unix group table
Shows mappings between Unix groups and PRM groups

COMMAND AVAILABILITY
Any user can run the command.

OPTIONS
Running without options prints all six tables of information.

       Display version information and exit.

Include parent hierarchical groups in output. For information on
	      hierarchical groups, see prmconf(4).

Print the PRM group names and application paths in wide-column format,
exceeding the 30-column default if necessary to avoid clipping
	      any names or paths.

Display the number of cores and core IDs for PSET PRM groups. (A core
is the actual data-processing engine within a processor. A sin‐
gle processor might have multiple cores. A core might support
multiple execution threads, as explained in the section	HYPER-
	      THREADING in the prm(1) manpage.)

Use MRG memory attribute format. Shows whether memory isolation is
       being used.

       [PRMgroup]

Display all PRM group and memory record information.

If PRMgroup is specified, display only information for the
requested PRM group. Specify a group by its name or PRMID.

       [user|+netgroup]

	      Display all user record information.

If user is specified, display only information for the requested
	      user record.

If +netgroup is specified, display only information for the
users belonging to netgroup. (Netgroups are defined in the file
	      /etc/netgroup.)

       [compartment]

	      Display all compartment record information.

If compartment is specified, displays only information for the
	      requested compartment record.

       [application]

	      Display all application record information.

If application is specified, display only information for the
requested application record. It is not necessary to include the
	      application's full path.

Do not use a regular expression when specifying application.

Do not use alternate names with this option.

       [disk_volume]

	      Display all disk record information.

If disk_volume is specified, display only information for the
	      requested disk record.

The device name must be a directory name beginning with	/dev/v
that contains a group of logical volumes (LVM) or disk groups
	      (VxVM).

       [unix_group]

	      Display all Unix group mappings.

If unix_group is specified, display only information for the
	      requested Unix group record.

RETURN VALUE
returns exit status if no errors occur, and otherwise.

EXAMPLES
Display	information for all group, memory, user, application and disk
       records in the current configuration:

Display information for one user, named

Display information for all group, memory, and application records:
