NAME
     pthread_equal - compare two pthreads for equality

SYNOPSIS
     #include <pthread.h>

     int
     pthread_equal(pthread_t t1, pthread_t t2);

DESCRIPTION
     This interface is defined by IEEE Std1003.1c (``POSIX'').

     The pthread_equal() function compares two thread IDs for equality.

RETURN VALUES
     If t1 and t2 are equal, pthread_equal() returns non-zero.	Otherwise, ze-
     ro is returned.

STANDARDS
     The pthread_equal function conforms to IEEE Std1003.1c (``POSIX'').

HISTORY
     The pthread_equal function first appeared in BSD/OS 3.0.
