SYNOPSIS

DESCRIPTION
is a WLM data collector that is part of the WLM SNMP Toolkit, or
SNMPTK. fetches values from an SNMP agent for use as metrics in your
WLM configuration.
You can then use these metrics to:
· Drive SLO goals
· Set up shares-per-metric allocations
· Enable and disable SLOs
Sources of metrics include:
· PRM data, available starting at the OID
.1.3.6.1.4.1.11.5.4.2.1 (hp.hpSysMgt.hpUXSysMgt.hpPRM.prm‐
ReadOnly)
· Pay Per Use data, available starting at the OID
.1.3.6.1.4.1.11.11.1 (hp.hpUtility.cpuppu)
OPTIONS
Displays usage information and exits.
Displays version information and exits.
Specifies the interval at which data is gathered. If no interval
length is specified, the default interval of 10 seconds is used.
Specifies which host to query to obtain the SNMP data. If no host is
specified, the default host "localhost" is used.
SNMP community name to specify when sending the request. If no
community name is specified, the default name "public" is used.
Name of the SNMP resource to query. If the value of the resource is
numeric, it is forwarded to WLM as the metric value. Specify
resource name in numeric format. This option is required.
