STARTWINBIND(1) STARTWINBIND(1)

NAME
       startwinbind - Start winbindd.

SYNOPSIS
       startwinbind [-n or --nocache] [-h or --help] [-c <configuration file>]

DESCRIPTION
This program is part of the samba(7) suite.

startwinbind is a shell script to start winbindd. If winbindd daemons

successful completion startwinbind returns a zero.

Use of this utility will cause a message to be logged to the user
facility in the system log, unless winbindd was already fully or
       partially up.

	   startwinbind --nocache
Startup winbindd with disabling winbind cache on user and group list.
	   startwinbind -h
	   startwinbind --help
		Display help message.
	   startwinbind -c <configuration file>
Start winbind daemons based on the specified configuration file.
