Name
       pthread_mutexattr_setkind_np  - Specifies the mutex type attribute that
       is used when a mutex is created.

Syntax
       #include <pthread.h>

       int pthread_mutexattr_setkind_np (attr, kind)
       pthread_mutexattr_t *attr;
       int kind;

Arguments
       attr    Mutex attributes object modified.

       kind    New value for the mutex type attribute. The kind argument spec‐
	       ifies  the  type	 of  mutex  that is created.  Valid values are
	       MUTEX_FAST (default), MUTEX_RECURSIVE, and MUTEX_NONRECURSIVE.

Description
       This routine sets the mutex type attribute that is used when a mutex is
       created.

Return Values
       If an error condition occurs, this routine returns -1 and sets errno to
       the corresponding error value.  Possible return values are as follows.

       Return	Error	   Description
       0		   Successful  comple‐
			   tion.

       -1	[EINVAL]   The value specified
			   by attr or kind  is
			   invalid.

       -1	[ESRCH]	   The value specified
			   by  attr  does  not
			   refer  to an exist‐
			   ing		 mutex
			   attributes object.
