The Digital Profiler is a Motif-based tool to help you generate
and display run-time statistics for your program.  The Profiler
supports the common profiling utilities: pixie, prof, hiprof and
gprof.

Depending on what your profiling requirements are, it provides
you with a graphical user interface from which you can:

	- generate performance statistics
	- display performance statistics graphically
	- locate and correct performance bottlenecks

The Digital Profiler is licensed and provided to you with Digital
UNIX Developers' Toolkit, but requires separate installation.
To install the Digital Profiler:

	Install Subset GPA (and its dependencies) from your 
	Digital UNIX software media.  Refer to Graphical Program
	Analysis Tools (GPA) under the Product Listings on the 
	Digital UNIX Associated	Products CD Volume 1, for
	details on installation.
