Mouse administration


Wheel mice
UnixWare now supports wheel mice, such as Microsoft IntelliMouse or Logitech Pilot Mouse+. Both wheel mice types are supported: serial and PS/2. See mouse(7).

mouseadmin utility
The mouseadmin(1) utility has been updated. You can now:

The v command line option has been introduced which produces verbose output. The mouseadmin utility actively searches the PS/2 port and the serial ports for a mouse, and then reports what it has found. It does not look for bus mice. This option is mainly for use within install scripts.

The ``Update mouse configuration and quit'' option has been removed. This affects documentation in the Hardware -> Mouse administration topic:
