Network considerations

• If you plan to perform distributed or remote administration, be sure to set up remote access for each account. (Non-system owners also need to have the necessary authorizations assigned.) This will allow you to administer systems from one location instead of having to rlogin to each system. See ``Setting remote access for a user''.

• Where possible, set up dedicated servers to manage different resources (files, printers, applications, mail, and so on). See ``About clients and servers''.
