Working with diskettes
Diskette drives are low-speed, low-capacity storage devices that
use removable storage media known as diskettes or floppy disks.
Diskettes (3.5-inch or 5.25-inch) may be used
to load software packages or user files
onto a hard disk, to back up user files,
or transfer small amounts of data from one system to another.
