Configuring Mail and Messaging
These topics describe how to configure and administer
sendmail on your system using the following
scoadmin(1M)
managers:
-
Mail Manager
Use this manager to initially configure sendmail and to
configure and administer aliases, channels, and domains.
-
Virtual Domain User Manager
Use this manager to create virtual domains. This
allows you to host email addresses for multiple domains on a
single system.
Note that the UnixWare mail system also supplies a Vacation
Notification Manager, which is used to set up automated
extended-absence replies when you are away. For details, refer to
Vacation Notification Manager.
The Mail Manager and the Virtual Domain User Manager can be launched from
the scoadmin launcher or from the command line in an
xterm window.
