The Virtual Domain User Manager

The Virtual Domain User Manager (VDUM) (also known as the Virtual Domain User Administration Manager) enables the system administrator to configure virtual domains (otherwise known as multihoming). Multihoming allows one single physical machine to appear as multiple virtual machines that may be in different domains. An IP address is consumed by each virtual domain. For example, two company domain names might be served by a single machine so that different users, fred@acme.com and fred@footle.com, may be resident on the same machine, even though they come from different companies. The VDUM allows the administrator to easily use and maintain the file via a graphical user interface. The VDUM uses the following files:
