Adding a member

A member is a user subscribed to an alias. For example astairef and rogersg may be members of the alias ``sales''.When a new person joins the group, you should add the person as a member to any relevant group or departmental aliases, in order for the person to receive the mail addressed to the department or group. Use the following procedure to add new members to an alias.

To add a member:

1. Within the ``Alias File'' select the Members Add menu option.

   This produces the ``Add Member'' screen.

2. Enter the member to be added in the first data entry field. Clicking on the Select name button produces a ``Select Users'' screen (see ``Adding an alias''). Note that it is mandatory to enter a member in the field.

3. Click on OK to return to the ``Alias File'' screen.
