The Virtual Domain User Manager

Removing a member

You may need to use this procedure to remove a member from an alias, if the member has changed groups or departments.

  1. Within the ``Alias File'' screen, select the Members -> Remove menu option.

This prompts a ``Really remove member ``membername''?'' message.

  2. Click on the OK button to confirm.
Note that you cannot remove the last member of an alias. Delete the alias instead. To remove an alias:

  1. Select the alias to be removed.

  2. Select the Aliases -> Remove menu option.

A dialog box asks ``Really remove alias ``aliasname''?''.

  3. Click on OK to commit changes.
