Retiring users

When a user's account is retired, you may wish to re-direct their mail to another person, such as their manager, and remove them from all other aliases in the file.

1. Within the ``Alias File'' screen, select the Users Retire menu option.

   This produces the ``Select User(s)'' screen.

2. You can enter a user's name or click the Select button to produce the ``Select Users'' list screen.

3. Click on OK.

   This produces a ``Remove User username'' screen to remove the user from all aliases in the file.

4. Click the Redirect mail for username button if the mail is to be redirected. Once enabled, you must specify a mail redirection address.

5. Click on OK to return to the alias file.

Either:

• Select the Aliases Save menu option to save changes.

  or:

• Select the Aliases Exit menu option to quit.
