Functional overview

UnixWare provides the following Mail and Messaging features:

graphical user interface based administration for the mail transport system, the virtual domain mail system, and the vacation feature
the sendmail Mail Transport Agent (MTA)
several Mail User Agents (MUAs)
a performance-enhancing message store system, including programming interface
Internet servers for POP3 and IMAP4 clients
a damaged folder recovery tool
an automated response system for extended absences
multi-home and virtual domain support
the maildelivery(4) and forward(4) filters for incoming mail
