DMAABLEBUF-
Formerly, the number of DMA pages to reserve.
SPTMAP-
Formerly, determined the size of the map entry array used
for managing kernel virtual address space.
MAXPMEM-
Formerly, if the value was non-zero, specified
the maximum amount of physical memory the kernel could use.
DO386B1-
Formerly, controlled use of B1 Stepping software solutions
to problems in early i386 chip production.
This parameter was not to be set to ``1'' on Compaq processors.
DO387CR3-
Formerly, controlled setting of high-order bits of Control
Register 3 (CR3) when an 80387 chip was installed.
This parameter was used to control a software solution needed to
solve i386/i387 timing problems in early chip production.
