Lost and Found

The Lost and Found list contains topics which do not have parent views.

Each time you install or remove documentation packages, the help system regenerates the navigational views you use to locate information. These views appear in the left-hand frame at all times.

A topic might not have a parent view:

if you remove a package that contains the view information for a topic in another package
if you add a package containing topics which do not have parent views

In these instances, affected topics appear in the Lost and Found listing in the left-hand frame.
