Removing fink-bld: Fink doesn't remove package-specific users/groups, since these might have been deployed on the system by some other method. If you want to remove fink-bld, for example to change its UID and GID to a dynamically-assigned value, the following commands should suffice: sudo dscl . -delete /Users/fink-bld sudo dscl . -delete /Groups/fink-bld Then, if you want to switch to a dynamic value, run "fink configure" and choose that option, and then run an operation which _could potentially_ install a package, like "fink selfupdate".
