sponsorship system which will help to attract more talent to the
country. THE CHANGES, WHICH CAME INTO FORCE IN MARCH 2021, allow
expatriate workers in the private sector to travel in and out of Saudi
Arabia, without prior approval of the employer. Expatriate workers may
now also seek a job with a new employer once their employment contract
expires without first obtaining the consent of their original
employer.
THE UAE ISSUED A NEW LABOR LAW IN THE PRIVATE SECTOR ACROSS DIFFERENT
WORK MODELS, including part-time and temporary work, along with
protecting employee rights and introducing new leave policies, in
addition to protecting employees against mobbing, bullying, or the use
of verbal, physical, or psychological by their employers, superiors,
and colleagues.
