STANDARDS
Interfaces documented on this reference page conform to industry stan‐
dards as follows:
addwstr, addnwstr, waddwstr, waddnwstr, mvaddwstr, mvaddnwstr, mvwaddw‐
str, mvwaddnwstr: XCURSES4.2
Refer to the standards(5) reference page for more information about
industry standards and associated tags.
DESCRIPTION
These routines write all the characters of the wchar_t character string
wstr on the given window. The four routines with n as the last argument
write at most n wchar_t characters. For the routines without the n as
the last argument, wstr should be null-terminated. If n is negative,
all the routines add the entire string, up to the maximum number of
characters that will fit on the line or until a null terminator is
reached.
NOTES
The header file <curses.h> automatically includes the header file
<stdio.h>.
Note that all of these routines except waddnwstr may be macros.
RETURN VALUES
All routines return the integer ERR upon and OK upon successful comple‐
tion.
