DESCRIPTIONagsysdb is a program that is used to list the contents of the HP Per‐

information concerning all systems to which the alarm generator will
send alert notifications.
Options-ovo off | on Updates the option of whether or not to send alert noti‐
fications to HP Operations. If this option is set to on,
and there is an HP Operations agent running on the HP
Performance Agent system, then all alert notifications
will be submitted as a message to HP Operations agent. If
this option is set to off, the alert notifications will
not be sent to HP Operations agent.
-actions off | always | on
Updates the option of whether or not to execute local
actions. If this option is set to on, then the local
actions defined in the EXEC statements in the alarmdef
file will be executed if:
1) HP Operations agent is not running on the HP Perfor‐
mance Agent system.
2) HP Operations agent is running on the HP Performance
Agent system, but the HP Operations agent option has
been set to off.
If this option is set to always, local actions will
always be executed even if an HP Operations agent is
running. If this option is set to off, local actions
will not be executed. If an HP Operations agent is run‐
ning, the local action will be submitted as a message to
HP Operations agent.
